We don’t think to look for beauty in the mundane, but the day-to-day can be filled with inspiration. My favorite color schemes that have been put in to design projects, always come from my life. Have you ever color sampled the layers of an avocado? Or the shades of a sunset? Have you live traced the texture on your walls, or made a stunning abstract out of a two-year-old’s painting? Seeing shapes in the clouds isn’t just kids. If we take a few minutes to look around, there is an abundance of inspiration at our fingertips.
